    Alpaca wool is the perfect material for socks. It's as soft as cashmere, wicks moisture, insulates better than nearly every fiber on the market, and is safe for sensitive skin as alpacas do not produce lanolin. Our alpaca wool is sourced directly from Peru and is a fully sustainable fiber.

    This is a medium weight knit sock with ample stretch. Knitting is visible on interior of sock.

    Care Instructions

    To machine wash, turn socks inside out and use a mild detergent on wool setting or delicates. Wash in cold water, lay flat to dry or tumble dry on cold/air setting. Wash dark colors separately. Hand wash in cold water with a gentle soap, tumble dry on low/cold or lay flat to dry.

    Dry quickly, keepp feet dry

    These socks, have all the properties of wool socks. They keep feet as dry as possible, and can be washed and hung to dry fairly quickly. Follow the size chart provided. The picture provided by the seller accurately to pick the socks.

    The real deal, great alpaca blend

    I wore these as dress socks on a cold day, they’re a truly excellent blend—because it’s only about 50% alpaca, it’s not too scratchy like all wool, but still has the moisture-wicking and insulating properties. Comfortable on my thicker ankles and calves as well, the perfect amount of elasticity for no pinching and no falling down. Love these socks! They’re worth taking care of and I’m happy to have them.

    Men’s Alpaca wool socks

    I just got these NOOTKAS Brand alpaca wool crew dress sock and I really like them. I will wear them in the winter when it is a bit cooler. I got the navy because I wear a lot of blue suits. These could also be used for casual wear. They are a little bit thicker than my usual dress socks, so I will have to choose my shoes carefully. I got the L-XL which fit my 9 ½ male foot perfectly. Wool is a good natural material, and it absorbs sweat very well. These socks are mixed with spandex and elastic, so they should stay up well too.     Catch a lot of fuzz, but keep me cool or warm

    I'm into them. I've never had alpaca socks, but my kids were at an alpaca farm and I needed socks so I accidentally typed alpaca into the search bar while talking with them and these were an option. When fate deals you a card like this you play that hand.They feel nice. They look like they catch a lot of fuzz, but that may just be the telltale sign they are alpaca wool? IDK, the look fuzzy'ish for being so thing, but they look exactly like the pictures so who knows. Considering their warmth touting description, I expected my feet to be sweating, but these are surprisingly breathable.     Toasty! Sizing is for women’s socks

    So two things in particular seem important to note1. When I saw these offered on Amazon vine I scoured the listing for sizing and all I could find was X-Xl, but not men’s or women’s sizing. I figured they would fit either me or my husband so I went for it. I normally wear a women’s sock in 9-11 sizing, and they’re definitely made for me, but a smidge bigger than I’m used to. Not objecting, just noticing. Might shrink in the wash down to what I expect but still completely comfortable. If they don’t shrink? They’re probably particularly good for people wearing around a women’s 10-11 shoe. (I wear a 9W)2. Description is for dress socks so I expected them to be relatively thin despite being an alpaca blend. No, these are still wintery level socks. Plenty thick, very toasty!
