Exchanges

To exchange for a different size or color, select “Start a Return” and choose “Replace with the same item.”

  • U.S. orders: Free exchange shipping
  • Canada orders: $16.95 USD exchange shipping

You’ll receive a prepaid return label—please follow all instructions. Exchanges are processed after your item is received and inspected at our warehouse.

Returns

Each return is subject to a shipping fee for a prepaid label provided by Nootkas:

  • Continental U.S.: $6.95
  • Alaska & Hawaii: $10.95
  • Canada: $16.95 USD

Return labels are sent by email and must be printed. We do not mail physical labels.

If you purchase your own return shipping, this fee will not apply.

Return Eligibility

You have 30 calendar days from delivery to return an item. Products returned after 30 days receive store credit. Gifts may qualify for an extended return window at our discretion.

Items must be unworn and in original condition. We recommend trying on lippers indoors on carpet or a rug to keep them clean. All returns are inspected for original, resellable condition. Items returned in worn or damaged condition incur a $30 restocking fee, deducted from your refund (in addition to return shipping costs).

Holiday Season Exception: Items purchased November 1 – December 31 may be returned or exchanged until January 31.

Refunds for Discounted Items

If you return an item purchased under a promotion, your refund may be less than the original amount paid. A $6.95 return shipping fee will also be deducted.

Examples:

  • Buy One, Get X% Off Second Item:
    If either item is returned, the item you keep reverts to full price. Your refund equals the returned item’s price minus the discount applied, plus the $6.95 return shipping fee (shipping may not be refunded).
  • % Off Entire Order (with added item):
    If any item is returned, the order no longer qualifies for the promotion. Your refund equals the returned item’s price minus the discount applied, plus the $6.95 return shipping fee (shipping may not be refunded).
Damaged Items

Please note: Our wool slippers are handmade, so slight variations are normal.

If you receive a damaged or defective item, email us within 5 days of delivery with photos of the issue. We offer a 180-day warranty covering manufacturer defects under normal use.

We do not accept returns or issue refunds for items that are worn, used, or damaged from outdoor use or misuse.

Exchanges for Items Received as a Gift

We accept returns within 30 days of delivery for unused items in their original condition. Refunds will be issued for the full order amount, minus the return shipping fee for the prepaid label.

If your order arrives damaged, email customerservice@nootkas.com within 5 days of delivery with your order number and photos of the item. We review these on a case-by-case basis and will work toward a satisfactory solution.

Refunds

Once your return is received and approved, your refund will be issued to your original payment method within 3–5 business days. Timing may vary depending on your credit card provider.

Gift card refunds are processed immediately and credited back to the original gift card.

If your refund hasn’t arrived:

  • Contact your credit card company (processing times may vary)
  • Contact your bank
