- Runs slightly large and wide to allow for easy entry and exit
- Medium width feet: Size down 1/2 size for snug barefoot wear.
- To wear with socks order your usual size.
- Narrow feet: Size down one full size.
- Wide feet: Size up one half size.
- Slipper will loosen roughly 1/2 size with long term wear.
Best for: This slipper will fit best on a medium to medium/wide foot. Built with a generous toe box and roomy instep. Please note that wool padded mid-sole does NOT provide structured arch support.

These slippers/house shoes/whatever you want to call them are wonderful. I always have issues with my feet getting overly warm -- or at least I used to. These slippers do not overheat my feet, but keep them just the right temperature. They take a little time to break in -- I legit thought I had them on the wrong feet -- but once they do they are perfect!

These are REALLY comfortable slippers, that run true to size. Being made of felted merino wool I expected them to be warmer, but they are still ok by me. Merino breathes really well, so the fact that they aren't as warm as I expected/hoped means they can be worn for three seasons (if not year round). I have taken them out for a handful of short end of day potty break walks with my dog, and the wear is noticeable. They're billed as "house shoes" so they aren't really meant for sidewalks, but I would give these 5 stars if the sole was just a little more durable.

I was so excited to get these slippers today, they were a splurge Christmas present to myself. So soft, so pretty and no doubt they would keep my toes warm. If only they had fit. The right slipper seems to be a full size smaller than the left. So the right slipper jams my toes together uncomfortably and the left slipper is so loose that the heel flops. Sadly back they go. :'(

If I could give 10 stars I would. 5 for the product and 5 for customer support!I am the barefoot queen... Hate shoes! However I live in a house in snow country that has hardwood floors. Feet get pretty chilly. Ive resorted to wearing socks but get too warm and end up with socks all over the place. These slippers are very close to being barefoot and I can slip them in or kick them off easily.Initially they did not confirm to my feet just right. Sorta felt like I had them on the wrong feet (I didn't). I reached out to Nootkas customer service. I told them up front that I planned to keep this but asked if they would shape to my feet. I received a response within 24 hours . Was assured they would conform to my feet BUT in the event they didn't they would replace them to include a different size if needed. Obviously didn't need that as they did shape to my feet.

Wool felt is one of my favourites. I am a very cold person, feet are always cold. When I discovered this slipper on the Internet, I immediately ordered it. It keeps my feet warm and does not smell. Since the bottoms of the slippers are covered with suede, I have never worn them outside or in wet conditions. Just because I have inflammatory rheumatism, my feet hurt when pressed in the on hard ground. I wish the soles of the slippers were air to reduce the pressure when stepping on the ground.

Doesn't really keep warm as advertised

Great for indoors only.Absolutely can not step outside, even on dry pavement. The sole picks up everything. I wiped with a damp cloth & black dye came off.
